Vorab, ich stehe weder auf diesen west indies style noch auf peated Whisky finishes und normalerweise fallen die bei mir mit ach und krach durch. Aber hier obwohl es überhaupt nicht mein Fall ist, harmonieren diese beiden Welten. Alkohol ist gut eingebunden und als Mixer doch wider erwarten gar nicht mal so schlecht. Der Preis mehr als fair. Ein Spalterrum, der Whisky guys auf die richtige Seite ziehen könnte
Ne dann kann ich leider echt nicht allzuviel mit anfangen. Diese oeated Dinger sind nicht so meins. Auf jeden Fall sind hier Rrauch, Torf und Whisky erkennbar. Alkohol allerdings recht gut eingebunden, wird vielleicht durch das rauchige übertüncht...
Puh, leider kann ich mit den peated Rums immer nichts anfangen. Die torfigen Noten überdecken einfach alles. Schade.
Vorweg: wer auf Sherry süß und Torfrauch steht, wird hier gut bedient. Dass allerdings Rum hier die Grundlage bildet (und nicht Whisky), ist geschmacklich kaum erkennbar. Als „Rum“ daher aus meiner Sicht völliger Unsinn: Erst macht der süße PX Sherry alles geschmacklich platt, dann kommt der Torfrauch drauf.
