Simon‘s Valkyrie Castanea
A solid, characterful German rum with chestnut-cask influence, whisky vibes and notable complexity. Polarizing but appreciated by many RumX users who enjoy its strong, distinctive profile.
Whisky drinkers and explorers looking for a wood-driven, chestnut-aged rum with noticeable alcohol and complex, slightly candied, leather-tinged notes.

How does Simon‘s Valkyrie Castanea taste?
Whisky-style German chestnut rum
If you enjoy malt whisky or wood-forward rums, this is an interesting sideways step—just expect chestnut cask character and alcohol presence rather than soft sweetness.
Those wanting an easy, sweet Caribbean-style sipper or anyone sensitive to alcohol presence and whisky-like aromas.
