"Das ist mein erster Les Confidentiels⊠und so richtig Freunde werden wir nicht! Die Nase st okay, am Gaumen missfÀllt mir der wahrlich nicht gut integrierte Alkohol. Als stÀrkere Aromen entwickeln sich fmich Schokolade und Fasseinschlag. Die typische pflanzliche Agricole-Note entwickelt sich erst spÀt im Abgang"

"Thinking about the price tag this is a very nice rum actually. The nose is fresh and woody with spices and fruit. The palate is also fresh and woody with spices and fruit trailed by chocolate. The finish is medium long and woody with fruit and spices as well as chocolate. Leave the empty glass for a few hours and then try to nose it again. Then you will get even stronger flavours and especially the chocolate shines through."

"This is a rum where I'm pretty sure people will have a hard time to agree on how to score it. I think this is a very well balanced and complex Agricole that deserves credit. On the other hand it's on the expensive end so I think most buyers will be heavy Agricole lovers. The nose is wonderful from ope ING and poring the dark Amber drops. Fruits and and vanilla is there right away closely followed by herbs and light wood. The palate is full bodied, well balanced and complex. Fruit and spice are there sharply followed by nuts and light wood notes. The finish is reasonably long with orange and spices followed by wood and a hint of chocolate. Wonderful rum even if the price is high."

"Bologne Le Distillat Brut de Colonne aus Guadeloupe wird aus rotem und schwarzem Zuckerrohr hergestellt, in der KupfersĂ€ule der Brennerei destilliert und anschlieĂend 18 Monate lang gelagert. Wie es sich fĂŒr einen Brut de Colonne gehört, wird er dann ohne jegliche Reduktion mit 75,5% abgefĂŒllt. Insgesamt ein Agricole, der fĂŒr seinen hohen ABV eine auĂergewöhnliche Rundheit aufweist."

"Ein klassischer, aber ausgewogener Rhum Agricole mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-VerhĂ€ltnis. In der Nase sind ZitrusfrĂŒchte, pflanzliches und sĂŒĂes Zuckerrohr, begleitet von einer wĂŒrzigen Note und SĂŒĂigkeiten auf Nougat und Marzipan. Es ist ein sanftes und angenehmes Profil. Der Auftakt im Mund ist trockener und wĂŒrziger, wobei die Chilischote den Saft schĂ€rft, sobald er im Mund ist. Die KrĂ€uternoten sind lebhafter und die FrĂŒchte sind insgesamt etwas stĂ€rker ausgeprĂ€gt. Der Alkohol ist gut integriert. Der Abgang ist von guter QualitĂ€t, mit einem Hauch von Heu, Gras und Zuckerrohr, der die Trockenheit unterstreicht. Die GewĂŒrze verleihen dem Wein etwas Charakter und die FrĂŒchte mehr FĂŒlle. Ein sehr konventionelles, aber qualitativ hochwertiges Profil, das sich wunderbar als Ti Punch eignet."

"Not a bad rum actually especially thinking about the price tag. The nose have nice spices and toasted notes trailed by plums and a bit of chocolate. The palate is well rounded, sweet and spicy at the same time with candied fruit, chocolate and cinnamon with a hint of chocolate and toffee. The finish is medium long and sweet with dried fruit, spices and some toffee."

"Bologne Black Cane Blanc, after 48h of fermentation âthe vesouâ is distilled in the distilleryâs copper Savalle column whereafter itâs slowly reduced from 70 to 50%. Overall a very smooth, elegant and almost luxurious Agricole Blanc. Actually one of the best Iâve tasted for a long time."

"Bologne RĂ©serve SpĂ©ciale from Guadeloupe is made from black and red cane. Itâs a blend of rums aged for at least 4 years in French oak barrels that have contained Cognac. Overall a good Agricole as all rum from the Bologne distillery."
