Blumen und Früchte in der Nase, pflanzliche Aromen und leichtes Menthol - hier handelt es sich mit Sicherheit um einen Rum zum Genießen. Der Mund ist fast noch besser mit all den Aromen der Nase plus einer Spur von glasierten Kastanien. Elegant und ausgewogen. Langer Abgang mit allen Aromen, die langsam verschwinden. Eine tolle Entdeckung, dieser Beenleigh!"

"Zunächst sehr geschlossene Nase. Holz und Äpfel. Geschmack: mehr Eichenholz (amerikanische Eiche/Kiefernholz). Bourbon. Birne... eine Menge Birne. Auch einige reife Pfirsiche. Eine schöne Süße. Trocken und bitter. Das Fass ist sehr dominant, aber das ist in Ordnung. Dieser hier braucht Zeit im Glas. Mir gefällt das Gleichgewicht zwischen Süße, Früchten und Fass. Etwas Pfeffer oder Ingwerschärfe. Schmackhaft. Wahrscheinlich einer der besseren Beenleighs, die ich je hatte."

"Ich finde die vorherigen Bewertungen, die diesen Rum unter 70/100 setzen, ziemlich hart...Für einen 4 Jahre alten Beenleigh, der auf 43% reduziert wurde, finde ich ihn ziemlich ausdrucksstark.Er ist ziemlich weich in der Nase. Im Mund ist der Alkohol trotz der Reduktion vorhanden und das Holz ist trotz des jungen Alters bereits präsent. Pfeffrige Noten, eine nicht unangenehme Fülle, nicht verrückt. Aber ziemlich erfolgreich."
